Six-Bay Garage Building Repair
A repair scheme for a two-level, six-bay garage building: damaged wall sections and framing are removed and replaced, with new floor joists and strapping.
Scope of work
- Wall layout plan identifying damaged wall sections and framing to be replaced
- Wall elevation details with 1-hr rated assemblies (UL U465)
- New 2×10 floor joists @ 16" O.C. and roof framing at 2×10 @ 24" O.C.
- Simpson MST / coil strapping and shear-transfer details
